Ruby / Ruby On Rails Developers
RealGravity is looking for a talented and passionate Engineer to work on our
video processing and distribution platforms. Making web applications friction-free
and a joy to use is a difficult task, and we need help improving ours.
Our application is written in Ruby and Rails, Javascript, Haml and SCSS. Our
development process includes Github, RSpec, Cucumber and a healthy dose of Agile
development methodologies. We deploy regularly with Capistrano into Amazon’s EC2.
Our data is stored in MySQL, cached with Memcache and passed around with Starling.
What We Are Looking For
- Web application development experience.
- Experience with Ruby and Rails.
- A deep understanding of rich-UI web development.
- Javascript experience (jQuery preferred).
- A habit for writing well tested code.
- The ability to work independently.
- A desire to take responsibility and own an application.
